Overview

The main objective of phase I, was to develop through electrochemical means, namely anodic oxidation, of a nanostructured surface made of titanium dioxide nanotubes (TiO2-NT) which are known to increase the bone contact due to their high surface to volume ratio, enhancing so the fixation of the implant in the bone tissue.
